Jennifer deserves to be recognized for Mother's Day. Jenn is such a wonderful mother, I would call her Super Mom if it didn't sound so generic. Jenn is an amazing inspiration. She and her husband Andy, moved to Rochester from California, just before their son, Benjamen was born, who is now 15 months old. They don't have family in the area and had to start over with friends as well. Jenn is an incredible stay at home Mom. She always has activities planned for Benji that will keep him engaged and help him learn new things. She's not afraid of a mess,a new project, or even a houseful of toddlers for play dates. She has a side business where she sells wonderful hand made gifts, from baby carriers, to blankets, purses, and crayon rolls. She can figure out a pattern for anything, and always has an idea on how to make something less costly. Jenn plans weekly meals for her family that are phenomenal and budget wise, and is first to volunteer a meal for a fellow Mom or friend in need. She plans music classes, craft classes & play dates every week. As well as craft nights for Mom's. She volunteer's to host group parties, baby sitting, making crafts, and car pooling. She will loan you anything that she has that she knows you can use. Jenn has put together home made ginger bread houses for about a dozen other kids to decorate for Christmas, makes play dough to take home after play dates, and they even make all their own gifts for family for Christmas. She has coordinated a craft exchange with twelve kids, she belongs to and is active in at least two Mom's groups. As soon as you walk into their home, the Pierson's make you feel like an old friend. Benji's art work hangs from the walls, chalk drawings fill the drive way, their home smells always of home cooking, and if you stay late enough, you will be treated through the baby monitor to Benji's bed time songs that Jenn & Andy have sang to him since he was born. Jenn is rarely without a smile and can see the positive side of every situation. She diligently updates a family blog for all of their out of town family to follow. And accomplishes all of this with an energy that is contagious and inspiring to those around her.
